Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

Upon arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay, is a bustling metropolis known for its vibrant culture, historic landmarks, and Bollywood glamour.

 

Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing and Elephanta Caves

Begin your day with a visit to the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site. These ancient rock-cut temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva, date back to the 5th and 8th centuries. After a delightful ferry ride from the Gateway of India, explore the intricate carvings and sculptures in the caves. Day 4: Darjeeling Sunrise and City Tour

Day 7: Gangtok Excursion

Embark on an excursion to Tsongmo Lake, also known as Changu Lake, located at a breathtaking altitude of 12,400 feet above sea level. This pristine lake is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, with snow-capped mountains reflecting in its crystal-clear waters. Day 9: Kalimpong Sightseeing - Guwahati

Day 11: Kaziranga National Park Safari

Day 12: Kaziranga - Majuli

With the morning light, you'll set out on an unforgettable journey. After a hearty breakfast, your adventure continues as you drive to Nimathi-Ghat, a picturesque location on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River. Here, you'll board a ferry that will convey you to Kamalabari-Ghat, taking you across the majestic river. The experience of crossing the Brahmaputra is nothing short of mesmerizing, as you'll be surrounded by stunning river landscapes. As you reach Kamalabari-Ghat, you'll be transferred to your cozy lodge on Majuli Island. Known as the world's largest river island, Majuli is a sanctuary of serenity and cultural richness.

After checking in at the lodge, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and interact with the friendly villagers. Upon your arrival, you'll check in at your hotel and prepare for an afternoon of exploration.

 

Day 14: Jorhat - Kolkata (by flight)

Your incredible journey through North East India takes you to new heights as you board a flight from Jorhat to Kolkata. Upon landing in Kolkata, often referred to as the "City of Joy," you'll be smoothly transferred to your welcoming hotel. After checking in, the vibrant city awaits your discovery.

 

Day 15: Kolkata Sightseeing

Delve deeper into the rich cultural tapestry of Kolkata on your fifteenth day. Begin with a visit to the iconic Kalighat Temple, one of the holiest places for devotees of the goddess Kali. The temple is known for its serene ambiance and spiritual significance. Your next destination is the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, an architectural gem set beside the Hooghly River. It's renowned for its exquisite Navaratna (nine-spired) style and association with the revered saint Ramakrishna.
