The Golden Triangle & Kerala Backwater private tour combines the cultural richness of India's north with the natural beauty of its south. Discover Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, the three iconic destinations of the Golden Triangle, before flying down to Kochi to explore the tranquil backwaters of Kerala. Experience traditional boat rides, witness local customs and relish the unique cuisine of both regions on this 16-day tour.

 

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can spend the day at your leisure, exploring the city or resting after your flight.

 

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, and Qutub Minar. Also, drive past the Parliament House, President's House, and other government buildings.

 

Day 3: Delhi - Agra (210km)

After breakfast, depart for Agra by road. On arrival, check in to your hotel and visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Also, explore the Agra Fort, which stands as an impressive testimony to the Mughal Empire's glory.

 

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (245km)

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the "Pink City" of India. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, and other attractions. On arrival in Jaipur, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to explore the Amber Fort, located on the outskirts of the city. Later, visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and other famous landmarks of Jaipur.

 

Day 6: Jaipur - Cochin (flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cochin. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets or relaxing at your hotel.

 

Day 7: Cochin Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit the Mattancherry Palace, the Paradesi Synagogue, and the Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance, a traditional dance form of Kerala.

 

Day 8: Cochin - Munnar (140km)

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, a picturesque hill station surrounded by lush green tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, taking in the serene surroundings.

 

Day 9: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, and Echo Point. Also, enjoy a stroll through the sprawling tea gardens and take in the scenic beauty of the Western Ghats.

 

Day 10: Munnar - Thekkady (110km)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a nature lover's paradise. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a visit to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including elephants, tigers, and rare birds.

 

Day 11: Thekkady Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk or take a boat ride on the Periyar Lake. Also, visit spice plantations and learn about various spices grown in the region.

 

Day 12: Thekkady - Alleppey (130km) 

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, the "Venice of the East." Upon arrival, board a traditional houseboat and cruise along the tranquil backwaters. Enjoy delicious local cuisine on board and spend the night on the houseboat.

 

Day 13: Alleppey - Kovalam (200km)

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam, a popular beach destination in Kerala. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

 

Day 14: Kovalam

After breakfast, you will enjoy sightseeing in Kovalam and Trivandrum. You can explore the famous beaches in Kovalam, such as Lighthouse Beach and Hawa Beach. In Trivandrum, you can visit attractions such as Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Napier Museum.

 

Day 15: Kovalam

Another day to explore Kovalam and its surroundings. You may visit nearby attractions like the Kovalam lighthouse, Vizhinjam fishing village or take a day trip to nearby beaches like Poovar or Varkala.

 

Day 16: Kovalam - Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Trivandrum airport for your flight back home.
