Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad

Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad airport, our courteous representative will be on hand to welcome you and facilitate your transfer to your selected hotel. After checking in, take some time to unwind and rejuvenate from your journey.

 

Day 2: Ahmedabad City Tour

Your adventure begins with a full-day exploration of Ahmedabad's cultural and historical riches. Your first stop is the Sabarmati Ashram, a place of great significance during India's struggle for independence, as it was Mahatma Gandhi's residence. You'll then visit the 15th-century Jama Masjid, adorned with intricate stone carvings, and the beautiful Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, famous for its delicately carved stone latticework. Next on your itinerary is the remarkable Adalaj Stepwell, a masterpiece of architectural grandeur. Later, you'll have the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through the lively Law Garden Market. Day 3: Ahmedabad - Dholavira (385kms)

Today, you'll set out for Dholavira, but not without making a stop at the magnificent Modhera Sun Temple. This ancient Hindu temple is dedicated to the solar deity Surya and is renowned for its intricate carvings and architectural beauty. Your journey will also take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Rani ki Vav, a stepwell celebrated for its stunning sculptures and intricate designs. Afterward, you'll continue your drive to Dholavira and check in at your chosen hotel.

 

Day 4: Dholavira - Dasada (255kms)

Day 6: Rajkot - Sasan Gir National Park (160kms)

Today's journey takes you to Sasangir, the only natural habitat of the majestic Asiatic lions. En route, you'll visit Gondal, a former princely state ruled by the Jadeja Rajput clan, where you can explore its magnificent palaces, including the Navlakha Palace and the Riverside Palace, both renowned for their architectural splendor. You'll continue to Junagadh, an ancient fortified city at the foot of the temple-studded Girnar Hill. Here, you'll visit the famous Uparkot Fort and the mausoleums at the Nawabi (Royal) Tombs. Your day culminates with your arrival in Sasan Gir, where you'll check in at your chosen hotel.

 

Day 7: Sasan Gir National Park - Diu (100kms)

Today, you'll embark on a thrilling Gypsy safari in Gir Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the majestic Asiatic lions. As you explore the diverse flora and fauna of the national park, you'll have the opportunity to spot other wildlife species like leopards, deer, and various bird species. After the safari, you'll drive to Diu, a tranquil coastal town celebrated for its pristine beaches and colonial architecture. You'll check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

 

Day 8: Diu

Your day in Diu begins with a city tour, starting with a visit to the historic Diu Fort, a magnificent structure that offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Your exploration continues with a visit to St. Paul's Church, known for its exquisite architecture and intricate woodwork. The Diu Museum, housed in the old St. Thomas Church, provides a fascinating insight into the history and culture of the region. You'll also have the opportunity to relax on the stunning beaches of Diu, such as Nagoa Beach and Ghoghla Beach, known for their serene ambiance. In the evening, explore the vibrant streets of Diu and indulge in the local cuisine.

 

Day 9: Diu - Departure

Your last day offers some free time to explore Diu at your leisure. You can visit the popular Naida Caves, a network of naturally formed caves with beautiful rock formations, or spend your time relaxing on the beaches and engaging in water sports activities. As per your flight schedule, our representative will assist you with your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
