Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

On the first day of your tour, you will arrive in Mumbai, the financial capital of India. Our representative will meet you at the airport and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you will have the rest of the day to yourself to explore the city at your leisure. Mumbai is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and a vibrant culture. You can visit the local markets, restaurants, and other attractions to get a feel for the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 2: Mumbai City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your Mumbai city tour. You will visit Marine Drive, a beautiful boulevard overlooking the Arabian Sea, and then proceed to the Gateway of India to take a motorboat cruise to the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After returning from the caves, you will visit the Parliament House, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Dhobhi Ghat, the Prince of Wales Museum, and the Mani Bhawan, also known as the Gandhi Museum. If time permits, you will also visit the Bandra and Juhu areas, where many Bollywood celebrities reside. In the evening, you will visit the ISKCON Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 3: Mumbai to Kolkata

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to relax and explore the beach. Overnight stay at the resort.

 

Day 4: Kolkata City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a full-day city tour of Kolkata. You will visit Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, and Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Fort William is a historic Raj-era building that was built in the early years of British India's Bengal Presidency. Victoria Memorial is a white marble monument dedicated to Queen Victoria and houses a museum with exhibits from the queen's era. Netaji Bhawan is a memorial and research center dedicated to the Indian nationalist Subhas Chandra Bose. Howrah Bridge is a famous bridge over the Hooghly River and is known as the gateway to Kolkata. Dakshineswar Kali Temple is a major pilgrimage center dedicated to Goddess Kali. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 5: Kolkata to Sunderban National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Sunderban National Park, which is approximately 130 km away and takes about 3 hours to reach. Sunderban is a natural haven for the famous Royal Bengal Tigers, as well as crocodiles, snakes, and deer. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel or resort and have the rest of the day to yourself to relax and explore the surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel or resort.

 

Day 6: Sunderban National Park

After breakfast, you will take a boat cruise along the creeks and take a village tour to meet the local fishermen, honey collectors, and woodcutters. You will learn about their experiences living in the jungle. Next, you will visit the Sudhanyakhali watchtower, where most of the Royal Bengal Tigers are sighted. You will have lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel or resort.

 

Day 7: Sunderban National Park to Kolkata

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a motorboat transfer to Sonakhali or Godhkhali jetty and then drive to Kolkata. Upon arrival, you will be transferred

 

Day 8: Departure from Kolkata

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel, and depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your departure. This concludes your Mumbai to Kolkata tour, a journey that took you from the vibrant cityscape of Mumbai to the cultural richness of Kolkata, with a thrilling interlude in the wilderness of Sunderban National Park.
