Day 1: Arrival in Kolkata

Upon arrival at Kolkata, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 2: Kolkata Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, start your day with a visit to the Victoria Memorial, a stunning white marble building that houses a museum. Next, visit the Indian Museum, the oldest and largest museum in India. Later, explore the St. Paul's Cathedral and the Kalighat Temple. In the evening, take a walk on the Howrah Bridge and visit the flower market.

 

Day 3: Kolkata - Bagdogra (Flight) / Darjeeling (75 km)

Fly to Bagdogra or drive to Darjeeling, a scenic hill station nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the beautiful mountain views.

 

Day 4: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Wake up early and head to Tiger Hill to catch a beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas. Later, visit the Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. In the afternoon, take a ride on the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the "Toy Train".

 

Day 5: Darjeeling - Pelling (72 km)

After breakfast, drive to Pelling, a small town in the West Sikkim district known for its beautiful views of the Himalayas. En route, visit the Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim.

 

Day 6: Pelling - Gangtok (130 km)

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. En route, visit the beautiful Khecheopalri Lake and the Rabdentse Ruins, the ancient capital of Sikkim.

 

Day 7: Gangtok Sightseeing

Visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim. Later, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which houses a collection of rare Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts. In the evening, take a stroll around the MG Road, the main street of Gangtok.

 

Day 8: Gangtok - Kalimpong - Bagdogra (60 km) / Mumbai (Flight)

After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong, a scenic hill station known for its beautiful orchids and flowers. Visit the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, the Tharpa Choling Monastery, and the Dr. Graham's Homes, a school founded by a Scottish missionary. In the evening, transfer to the airport for a flight to Mumbai.

 

Day 9: Mumbai Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the Gateway of India, a famous landmark of Mumbai. Then, visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic railway stations in India. Later, visit the Marine Drive, the Hanging Gardens, and the Crawford Market.

 

Day 10: Mumbai - Aurangabad (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Aurangabad. After reaching, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 11: Aurangabad - Visit Ajanta Caves (200 km round trip)

After breakfast, drive to the Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of Buddhist religious art. The caves contain paintings and sculptures dating back to the 2nd century BC.

 

Day 12: Aurangabad - Hyderabad (Flight)

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred to the airport for a flight to Hyderabad. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 13: Hyderabad

After breakfast, you'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Hyderabad, including a visit to the famous Charminar, the historic Golconda Fort, and the Qutb Shahi Tombs. You'll also visit the Salar Jung Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of artifacts in the world.

 

Day 14: Hyderabad - Warangal (150km one way)

Today, you'll take a day trip to Warangal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 150km from Hyderabad. You'll visit the Thousand Pillar Temple, the Warangal Fort, and the Bhadrakali Temple. You'll return to Hyderabad in the evening.

 

Day 15: Hyderabad - Hampi (flight)

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for a flight to Hampi. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the town on your own.

 

Day 16: Hampi

After breakfast, you'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Hampi, which is known for its stunning architecture and rich history. You'll visit the Vittala Temple, the Lotus Mahal, and the Queen's Bath, among other attractions.

 

Day 17: Hampi - Lakkundi - Gadag - Badami (150kms)

After breakfast, you'll leave Hampi and drive to Badami, stopping at Lakkundi and Gadag en route. In Lakkundi, you'll visit the Kashi Vishveshwara Temple and the Brahma Jinalaya Temple. In Gadag, you'll visit the Trikuteshwara Temple, which is known for its intricate carvings. You'll arrive in Badami in the evening and check into your hotel.

 

Day 18: Badami, Aihole & Pattadakkal

After breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Badami, Aihole, and Pattadakal. You'll visit the Badami Cave Temples, which are carved out of sandstone cliffs, and the Aihole Temple Complex, which has over 100 temples of different styles. You'll also visit the Pattadakal Temple Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has some of the finest examples of Dravidian and Nagara architecture.

 

Day 19: Badami - Goa (250kms)

After breakfast, you'll leave Badami and drive to Goa, a beach destination known for its beautiful coastline and colonial architecture. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 20: Goa

Today, you'll have a full day to explore Goa on your own. You can visit the beaches of North Goa, such as Anjuna, Baga, and Calangute, or explore the charming old town of Panaji. You can also visit the historic churches of Old Goa or the famous Saturday Night Market in Arpora.

 

Day 21: Goa

Today, you'll have another full day to explore Goa on your own. You can take a river cruise along the Mandovi River, visit the spice plantations in Ponda, or relax on the beach and soak up the sun.

 

Day 22: Goa - Departure (Flight)

After breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel and be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
