Day 1: Cochin to Munnar (130kms)

Later in the day, you'll visit a tea estate, an integral part of Munnar's landscape. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating tea-making process. Savor the flavors with a tea tasting experience.

Your exploration of the tea culture continues with a visit to the Tea Museum. This museum provides insights into the century-old traditions and history of tea production in South India.

Day 2: Munnar - Scenic Delights and Rich Culture

Start your day with a delightful breakfast and prepare for an exciting day of sightseeing.

Pothamedu: Your first stop is at Pothamedu, a location that offers captivating views of the vast tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills blanketed with lush greenery create a picturesque vista that's perfect for photography.

Mattupetty Dam and Reservoir: Next on the agenda is a visit to the Mattupetty Dam and Reservoir. This concrete gravity dam, nestled between hill ranges, was constructed for water storage and hydroelectric projects. The pristine waters and surrounding landscapes create a tranquil ambiance. Enjoy a leisurely walk or simply take in the serene beauty.

Rajamala in Eravikulam National Park: Your journey continues to Rajamala, a hill station situated within the boundaries of the Eravikulam National Park. This park serves as the natural habitat for the Nilgiri tahr, a rare mountain goat species. You'll explore this unique ecosystem at an elevation of 2,695 meters above sea level. Rajamala houses nearly half of the world's Nilgiri tahr population and provides a vital conservation site.

Mattupedi Dairy Farm: Following your wildlife exploration, you'll visit the Mattupedi Dairy Farm. It's renowned for the Indo-Swiss Farm, which is part of the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project. Here, you can witness specialized dairy farming practices and learn about the successful collaboration between India and Switzerland in dairy development.

Day 3: Return to Cochin

Following breakfast, you have some free time to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings at your own pace. Take in the last moments of the serene Munnar atmosphere.

Later, you'll head back to Cochin and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your enriching journey through the tea-scented landscapes and scenic delights of Munnar.
