Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar/Rishikesh (by DEHRADUN SHTBDI train no 12017, 06:45 - 11:30)

Your journey begins in Delhi with a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, you'll be driven to the railway station to board the Dehradun Shatabdi Express train (12017) headed for either Haridwar or Rishikesh, depending on your preference. Upon arrival at Haridwar Railway Station, our representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, you'll have the opportunity to witness the enchanting Ganges Aarti ceremony at Hari Ki Pauri in Haridwar, a sacred Hindu ritual held on the riverbanks. Spend the night at your hotel in Haridwar or Rishikesh.

 

Day 2: Haridwar/Rishikesh Sightseeing

After a refreshing breakfast at your hotel, you'll embark on a captivating city tour of Rishikesh. The day's highlights include visits to the iconic Lakshman Jhula, an impressive suspension bridge over the holy Ganges, and the Ram Jhula, another suspension bridge offering breathtaking river and mountain views. Your spiritual journey continues with a visit to the Trimbakeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and believed to be one of India's twelve Jyotirlingas. You'll also explore the Neer Garh Waterfall, nestled within Rajaji National Park, making it a popular destination for picnics and treks. In the afternoon, your explorations lead you to the Beatles Ashram, a serene retreat where the Beatles once meditated during the late 1960s. After breakfast, you'll explore Haridwar, discovering its famous landmarks, including the Chandi Devi Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, and Maya Devi Temple. Later, you'll be transferred to the railway station to board the Dehradun Shatabdi Express train (12018) for your return journey to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will meet you and ensure your comfortable transfer to your hotel.
