Day 1: Arrival in Mauritius

Upon your arrival at Mauritius airport, our friendly representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Take the remainder of the day to relax and explore the nearby areas. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 2: North Island Tour

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on the North Island Tour. Begin with a visit to the renowned Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, where you can marvel at giant water lilies and discover a diverse range of palm trees from around the world. Continue to L’Aventure du Sucre Museum to delve into the rich history of Mauritius, sugar production, and the island's past. Here, you can enjoy tasting different sugars and local rums. Next, explore the beautifully restored Château de Labourdonnais, a colonial mansion built in 1859. Wander through its enchanting tropical garden and savor a complimentary rum tasting at the bar. Conclude your day with a visit to Port Louis, where you can explore the vibrant Caudan Waterfront, Blue Penny Museum, and more.

 

Day 3: South Island Tour

After breakfast, head out for the South Island Tour. Begin your journey at Bois Cheri Tea Plantation, where you'll learn about the art of tea production, visit the tea factory, and explore the museum showcasing the history of tea in Mauritius. Don't miss the chance to sample various teas, including the famous Mauritian vanilla tea. Continue to La Vanille Réserve des Mascareignes, a unique nature park where you can encounter diverse flora and fauna. Marvel at palm and banana trees, and observe 1,000 giant tortoises. Experience the dramatic coastline at Gris Gris, where powerful waves crash against the cliffs, and visit La Roche Qui Pleure, a natural rock formation that resembles a person crying when the waves hit it.

 

Day 4: Southwest Tour

After breakfast, set off for the Southwest Tour. Choose between an exhilarating Wild Dolphin Swim, where you can swim with wild dolphins in their natural environment for 2.5 hours on the open sea, followed by snorkeling at The Aquarium, a popular site known for its beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish. Alternatively, opt for a visit to Trou aux Cerfs Volcano and admire 360-degree views from the top of the volcano while taking a leisurely stroll around the crater. On clear days, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the island. Next, head to Grand Bassin Sacred Lake to discover the Hindu culture by visiting the temples around the lake. Finally, visit Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth, where you can view the geological wonders of the seven colored dunes and the Chamarel Falls, the most famous waterfall in Mauritius.

 

Day 5: Departure from Mauritius

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out (standard check-out time is 1100hrs). Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable Mauritius adventure.
