Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey.

 

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Your tour will include visits to some of the city's most famous attractions such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lotus Temple, and the Parliament House. You will also have the opportunity to explore the bustling streets of Old Delhi and experience the local bazaars.

 

Day 3: Delhi - Agra - Delhi (400kms round)

Today you will take a day trip to Agra to visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will also visit the Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. After a day of sightseeing, you will return to Delhi.

 

Day 4: Delhi - Bhubaneswar (flight)

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Bhubaneswar, the capital city of the Indian state of Odisha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later, you will visit some of the famous temples in Bhubaneswar such as the Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswara Temple, Rajarani Temple, and Ananta Vasudeva Temple.

 

Day 5: Bhubaneswar - Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri & Udayagiri and Dhauli (200kms round)

After breakfast, you will embark on a day trip to visit the Buddhist sites of Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri, and Udayagiri. These ancient sites are renowned for their well-preserved stupas, monasteries, and temples. You will also visit Dhauli, a significant Buddhist site, where Emperor Ashoka is believed to have renounced violence and embraced Buddhism.

 

Day 6: Bhubaneswar - Konark - Puri (65kms)

Today you will travel to Puri, a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus. On the way, you will visit the Sun Temple of Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its intricate stone carvings and architecture. You will also visit the Pipli Village, known for its traditional applique work, and Raghurajpur Village, famous for its Pattachitra paintings.

 

Day 7: Puri - Chilika Lake (110kms round)

After breakfast, you will embark on a half-day excursion to Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia. You will have the opportunity to take a boat ride and observe a variety of bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. Later, you will return to Puri and visit the Jagannath Temple and the Puri Beach.

 

Day 8: Puri - Kolkata (flight)

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Kolkata, the cultural capital of India. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the city on your own.

 

Day 9: Kolkata

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Kolkata. Visit the Victoria Memorial, a grand monument built in honor of Queen Victoria, now a museum showcasing the city's colonial past. Later, visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kali, located on the banks of the Hooghly River. In the evening, take a stroll along the famous Howrah Bridge and explore the colorful markets of Kolkata. Overnight in Kolkata.

 

Day 10: Kolkata - Bagdogra/ Darjeeling (62kms)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, meet your driver and drive to Darjeeling. On the way, stop at the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy a jeep safari through the lush forests. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Darjeeling.

 

Day 11: Darjeeling

Wake up early and take a sunrise tour to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, which houses rare species like the snow leopard and the Himalayan black bear. Later, visit the Tea Gardens, where you can witness the tea-making process and enjoy a cup of Darjeeling tea. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some local cuisine. Overnight in Darjeeling.

 

Day 12: Darjeeling - Gangtok (75kms)

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own. Overnight in Gangtok.

 

Day 13: Gangtok

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the Enchey Monastery, a beautiful monastery that dates back to the 1900s. Later, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a museum that showcases the rich cultural heritage of Sikkim. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some local cuisine. Overnight in Gangtok.

 

Day 14: Gangtok - Kalimpong (75kms)

After breakfast, drive to Kalimpong, a beautiful hill station located on the foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own. Overnight in Kalimpong.

 

Day 15: Kalimpong

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. Visit the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, a beautiful monastery that houses rare scriptures and artifacts. Later, visit the Dr. Graham's Homes, a school and orphanage that was founded in the early 1900s. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some local cuisine. Overnight in Kalimpong.

 

Day 16: Kalimpong - Bagdogra (80kms)/ Delhi

After breakfast, drive to Bagdogra for your flight to Delhi. From delhi board connecting flight for onward journey.
