Upon your arrival at Kolkata Airport, you will be greeted and assisted in transferring to your hotel. Take some time to relax and settle in.

Day 2: Kolkata

Day 3: Kolkata - Balasore (250kms)

Drive from Kolkata to Balasore and check in at your hotel. Explore the sights and attractions of Balasore, known for its historical significance and natural beauty. Visit Chandipur Beach, where you can witness the unique phenomenon of the receding sea during low tide. Explore Emami Jagannath Temple, Balasore Beach, and Panchalingeswar Temple, known for its scenic surroundings and religious importance.

Day 4: Balasore - Bhitarkanika (165kms)

Drive to Bhitarkanika and check in at your hotel. Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary is a renowned mangrove forest and a haven for diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy a boat ride from Khola to Dangmal and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings. Take a guided nature walk and spot crocodiles, deer, wild boars, and various bird species.

Day 5: Bhitarkanika

Day 6: Bhitarkanika - Bhubaneswar (200kms)

Drive from Bhitarkanika to Bhubaneswar, making stops at Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri, and Udaygiri. These sites are known for their ancient Jain and Buddhist monasteries, housing intricate sculptures and artifacts that depict the rich religious history of the region. Explore the ruins and marvel at the architectural brilliance of these archaeological sites.

Day 7: Bhubaneswar - Puri (75kms)

In Bhubaneswar, visit notable temples and historical sites, including Lingaraj Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, and Rajarani Temple. Explore the Udaygiri and Khandagiri caves, which showcase ancient rock-cut architecture and Jain inscriptions. Then, proceed to Puri, stopping at Dhauli to see the ancient rock edicts of Emperor Ashoka. In Puri, visit the famous Jagannath Temple and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the temple town.

Day 8: Puri

Explore the highlights of Puri, starting with a visit to the magnificent Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its architectural grandeur and intricate stone carvings. Discover the vibrant Pipili village known for its intricate applique work, Raghurajpur artisan village renowned for Pattachitra paintings, and enjoy the serene beauty of Ramchandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach. Visit the Gundicha Temple and witness the vibrant Rath Yatra festival if it coincides with your visit.

Day 9: Puri

Embark on an excursion to Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia and a paradise for birdwatchers. Visit the Kalijai Temple situated on an island in the lake and learn about the local folklore associated with it. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant by the lakeside. Day 10: Puri - Bhubaneswar (65kms)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Puri. Proceed to Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha. Visit the renowned temples of Bhubaneswar, including the Lingaraj Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the most prominent temples in the region. Explore the ancient caves of Khandagiri and Udaygiri, which showcase intricate carvings and Jain inscriptions. If time permits, you can also visit the Odisha State Museum to learn about the rich cultural heritage of the state. In the evening, transfer to Bhubaneswar airport for your onward journey or departure.
