Day 1: Arrive Kolkata

On arrival at Kolkata Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After check-in, you can take some rest and freshen up. In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Kolkata. Visit popular attractions such as Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, and St. Paul's Cathedral. Experience the vibrant culture and rich history of Kolkata. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kolkata

After breakfast at the hotel, continue exploring the city of Kolkata. Visit the Mother House, the headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity founded by Mother Teresa. Explore the narrow lanes of Kumartuli, known for its traditional idol-making workshops. Visit the Marble Palace, a splendid mansion showcasing a unique blend of European and Indian architectural styles. Explore the bustling local markets and try out delicious street food. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the Hooghly River. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3: Kolkata - Similipal Tiger Reserve (300kms)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Similipal Tiger Reserve. On arrival, check in at the hotel and take some rest. Similipal is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to various species including tigers, leopards, elephants, and sloth bears. Enjoy the serene surroundings and the beauty of nature. In the evening, you can take a nature walk or simply relax at the resort. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Similipal.

Day 4: Similipal Tiger Reserve

Start your day with an exciting jeep safari in Similipal Tiger Reserve. Explore the dense forests and try to spot the majestic tigers, leopards, and other wildlife species in their natural habitat. The reserve is also known for its diverse birdlife, so keep an eye out for colorful avian species. Learn about the conservation efforts and the unique flora and fauna of the region from your knowledgeable guide. After the safari, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Similipal Tiger Reserve - Bhitarakanika National Park (200kms)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bhitarakanika National Park. On the way, enjoy the scenic drive through picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at the Jungle Cottage or Tent accommodation. Bhitarakanika is a unique mangrove ecosystem and a paradise for nature lovers. Embark on a thrilling boat safari through the mangrove forests, exploring the meandering creeks and observing the rich wildlife. Keep an eye out for estuarine crocodiles, turtles, and various bird species. In the evening, relax at the cottage or tent and enjoy dinner.

Day 6: Bhitarakanika National Park - Puri (225kms)

After breakfast, continue your exploration of Bhitarakanika National Park. Take another boat safari to witness the beauty of the mangrove forests and spot more wildlife. Visit the Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and climb the watchtower to get a panoramic view of the surrounding area. After the safari, drive to Puri and check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Jagannath Temple and experience the evening aarti ceremony. Enjoy the serene beach of Puri and relax. Overnight stay in Puri.

Day 7: Puri - Chilika Lake - Konark Sun Temple - Puri

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia and a haven for migratory birds. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake and witness the scenic beauty and abundant birdlife. Visit the famous Kalijai Temple located on an island in the lake. Later, proceed to the iconic Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the architectural brilliance of this 13th-century temple known for its intricate stone carvings and fascinating sun chariot structure. After exploring the temple, return to Puri. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful Puri beach. Overnight stay in Puri.

Day 8: Puri - Bhubaneswar (65kms)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Puri and embark on a scenic drive to Bhubaneswar. En route, visit Dhauli, known for its rock edicts and the famous Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda). In Bhubaneswar, visit prominent temples such as the Parasurameshwar Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Rajarani Temple, and Lingaraj Temple (please note that non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the inner sanctum of the Lingaraj Temple). Immerse yourself in the spiritual aura and architectural splendor of these temples.
After the temple visits, you will be dropped off at Bhubaneswar Airport to board your onward flight, marking the end of your tour.
