Day 1: Kolkata

Arrive in Kolkata and check in to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own.

 

Day 2: Kolkata

After breakfast, take a city tour of Kolkata. Visit the Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral, Howrah Bridge, the Indian Museum, and the Kalighat Temple. In the evening, take a walk along the Ganges River and explore the ghats.

 

Day 3: Kolkata - Balasore (250km)

After breakfast, drive to Balasore. Enroute, visit the Chandipur Beach, known for its unique phenomenon of the receding sea. Check in to your hotel in Balasore and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 

Day 4: Balasore - Bhitarkanika (165km)

After breakfast, drive to Bhitarkanika National Park. On arrival, check in to your jungle lodge. Later, take a boat ride to explore the mangrove forests and spot the crocodiles, birds, and other wildlife.

 

Day 5: Bhitarkanika

Today, go on a morning nature walk in the Bhitarkanika National Park. In the afternoon, visit the nearby temples and villages.

 

Day 6: Bhitarkanika - Bhubaneswar (200km)

After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswara Temple, and Rajarani Temple.

 

Day 7: Bhubaneswar - Puri (75km)

After breakfast, drive to Puri. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Later, visit the Jagannath Temple, Puri Beach, and the Sun Temple in Konark.

 

Day 8: Puri

Today, go on a city tour of Puri. Visit the Gundicha Temple, Loknath Temple, and Chilika Lake. In the evening, witness the Puri Beach Festival, if it is happening during your visit.

 

Day 9: Puri - Gopalpur (135km)
