Day 1: Arrive Kolkata

Upon your arrival at Kolkata Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and settle in.

 

Day 2: Kolkata City Tour

Embark on a city tour of Kolkata, exploring its vibrant streets, colonial architecture, and cultural landmarks. Visit iconic attractions such as Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, Indian Museum, Marble Palace, and the bustling markets of New Market and College Street.

 

Day 3: Kolkata to Balasore (250kms)

After breakfast, drive to Balasore and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the famous Khirachora Gopinatha Temple known for its architectural beauty. You can also enjoy some leisure time at Chandipur-on-sea, a serene seaside resort known for its beautiful beach.

 

Day 4: Balasore to Bhitarkanika (165kms)

Drive to Bhitarkanika and check in at your hotel. Take some time to relax and explore the surrounding natural beauty. Overnight stay will be at a Jungle Cottage or Tent, allowing you to immerse yourself in the wilderness.

 

Day 5: Explore Bhitarkanika

Embark on an exciting boat safari in Bhitarkanika National Park, renowned for its mangrove forests and wildlife. Cruise through serpentine creeks, spot various bird species, including kingfishers, and keep an eye out for estuarine crocodiles. Visit the Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and climb to a watchtower to observe pelicans and storks.

 

Day 6: Bhitarkanika to Bhubaneshwar (200kms)

Drive to Puri, stopping en route to visit the ancient Jain and Buddhist monasteries of Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri, and Udaigiri. These historical sites are known for their rich heritage and architectural marvels.

 

Day 7: Bhubaneshwar to Puri (75kms)

Begin the day by visiting prominent temples in Bhubaneshwar, including Lingaraja Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, and Rajarani Temple. Explore the ancient Udaigiri and Khandagiri caves, and then proceed to Puri, making a stop at Dhauli to witness the famous Shanti Stupa.

 

Day 8: Explore Puri

Today, discover the treasures of Puri, starting with a visit to the awe-inspiring Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the artisan villages of Pipili and Raghurajpur, known for their intricate artwork. Visit the Ramchandi Temple, enjoy the scenic beauty of Chandrabhaga Beach, and pay homage at the revered Lord Jagannath Temple.

 

Day 9: Puri to Gopalpur (135kms)

After breakfast, drive to Gopalpur, en route visiting Chilika Lake. Enjoy a delightful boat ride amidst the serene lake, home to a variety of migratory birds and unique wildlife. Continue your drive to Gopalpur and check in at your hotel.

 

Day 10: Gopalpur to Srikakulam (170kms)

Proceed to Srikakulam and check in at your hotel. Embark on an excursion to Salihundam, a Buddhist heritage site known for its ancient ruins and sculptures. Visit the Sri Suryanarayana Swamy Temple, one of the oldest sun temples in India, believed to have been built in the 7th century AD.

 

Day 11: Srikakulam - Araku Valley (145kms)

Drive to Araku Valley, an enticing hill station offers enlivening viewpoints, imposing waterfalls, and lush green coffee plantations. Explore the Borra Caves, one of the largest, million-year-old limestone caves set at an elevation of 705m above sea level. Also, visit Waterfalls & Galikonda Viewpoint.

 

Day 12: Araku Valley - Vizag (120kms)

Drive to Vizag and check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy a city tour of Vizag, a port city and industrial center on the Bay of Bengal. Visit the Kailasagiri hilltop park for panoramic views of the city, the Submarine Museum, and the INS Kurusura submarine.

 

Day 13: Vizag - Departure

As per flight schedule, you will have a departure transfer to the airport to board your flight for onward destination.
