Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Day 2: Delhi to Leh (Flight)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport.Fly to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, where you’ll be greeted and taken to your hotel for check-in and acclimatization. Visit Leh Palace, a 17th-century royal residence offering sweeping views of Leh and the snow-covered mountains; explore the nine-story structure, which reflects a blend of Tibetan and Indian architecture. Explore Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist monument built to promote peace and prosperity, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunset views over Leh’s valley. Stroll through Leh’s bustling local market, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts, jewelry, woolen goods, and sample Ladakhi delicacies.

Day 3: Leh Sightseeing

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a full day of sightseeing in Leh. Visit the Hall of Fame, a museum honoring Indian soldiers, particularly those from the Kargil War; view military artifacts, photographs, and bravery medals displayed in tribute. Experience the wonder of Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity and roll uphill—an optical illusion created by the landscape’s unique contours. Witness the dramatic confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where the two rivers meet, creating a striking contrast between their distinct colors. Explore Spituk Monastery, a centuries-old Tibetan Buddhist monastery housing ancient statues, beautiful murals, and a stunning view of the surrounding valleys.

Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley (140 km)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your drive to Nubra Valley. Cross Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads, offering awe-inspiring views of the mountains and rugged Ladakhi terrain. Arrive in Nubra Valley, known for its lush landscapes and check in to your accommodation. Visit Hunder Sand Dunes, a striking desert landscape unique to the region. Take a camel ride on Bactrian camels across the dunes, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, for an unforgettable experience.

Day 5: Nubra Valley

Start your day with breakfast before exploring Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley, famous for its enormous Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley, and explore ancient murals and artifacts within the monastery. Discover the serene beauty of Nubra Valley’s landscape, where you can capture the striking contrast of lush greenery, towering sand dunes, and snowy peaks that make this valley so unique.

Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass. Cross Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world, with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.Stop at Shey Palace, the former summer palace of Ladakhi kings, featuring a notable copper Buddha statue and impressive hilltop views. Arrive at Pangong Lake, known for its brilliant blue waters, which shift in color throughout the day, creating a mesmerizing effect. Spend the evening relaxing by the lake, enjoying the tranquil beauty and watching the stars fill the clear night sky.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh (210 km)

Start the day with breakfast by the lakeside, taking in the early morning hues of Pangong Lake as the sun rises. On the drive back to Leh, stop at Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Ladakh, known for its beautiful frescoes and annual masked dance festival. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, an impressive 12-story structure built on a hill resembling the Potala Palace, offering spectacular views and housing a two-story Maitreya Buddha statue. Return to Leh and relax after a day of travel.

Day 8: Leh to Delhi – Agra (204 km)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for a flight to Delhi. Drive to Agra, renowned for its Mughal heritage and the iconic Taj Mahal. Check in to your hotel in Agra, freshen up, and prepare for the Mohabbat the Taj Show, an immersive cultural performance that narrates the love story of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal through dance, music, and vibrant costumes.

Day 9: Agra – Delhi (204 km)

Begin the day with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal to witness this architectural marvel at sunrise, with its white marble glowing in the soft morning light, an experience perfect for photography. Explore the Taj’s meticulously maintained gardens, fountains, and marble inlay work, learning about the Mughal architecture and craftsmanship behind its construction. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out before driving back to Delhi. Transfer to Delhi airport for your onward journey, cherishing the memories of your journey through Ladakh and the ethereal beauty of the Taj Mahal.
