Day 1: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport assistance & transfer to hotel. Rest time free to relax and personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2: Delhi (B)

City tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi visit the majestic Red Fort (closed on Monday) the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years until 1857. Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in the world built by Shah Jahan. Cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk & Khari Baoli Spice Market a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets. Raj Gath the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination. 
In New Delhi visit Humayun Tomb the first garden-tomb in Indian subcontinent and an early example of Mughal architecture commissioned by Humayun`s first wife Empress Bega Begum in 1569-70. Qutab Minar a 73-metres tall minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex a fine examples of Afghan architecture. Lotus Temple a Bahai House of Worship notable for its flower-like shape. Also drive pass President House, Parliament & India Gate etc. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 3: Delhi - Dehradun (Flight) (B)

Transfer to airport to board flight for Dehradun. On arrival assistance and transfer to hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 4: Dehradun (B)

City tour of Dehradun. Visit Robbers Cave a river cave formed in the Himalayas locally known as Gucchu Pani. This river cave is believed to be an abode of Lord Shiva and is very close to Sahasradhara. Gurdwara Nanaksar Sikh temple topped with ornate white and golden domes. Mindrolling Monastery a Tibetan Buddhist center established in Clement Town by Khochhen Rinpoche in 1965. Being an architectural masterpiece with several sections, the monastery is a visual wonder. Rest time to visit Ghanta Ghar clock tower and Paltan Bazaar, a busy shopping area. Being one of the crowded markets Paltan Bazar gives a glimpse of rustic life. Rest time free to relax. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 5: Dehradun (B)

Full day excursion to visit Mussoorie, known as the Queen of the Hills, and famous for its scenic beauty, a fascinating hill resort. It commands a wonderful view of the extensive Himalayan snow ranges in the north-west and glittering views of the Doon Valley. The town retains much of its colonial charm and is well worth a visit for its beautiful scenery and lovely walks. Visit Gun Hill the second highest point of Mussoorie, at an altitude of 2,024 m. Sir George Everest's House also known as Park Estate, built in 1832. It was the residence and laboratory of Sir George Everest, the surveyor General of India. Lal Tibba the highest point in Mussoorie offering a panoramic view of the town and its surroundings. The place is famous for a Japanese telescope which was placed here in 1967. One can view Badrinath, Kedarnath, Banderpunch and other Himalyan ranges from this telescope. Kempty Falls, nestled at an altitude of around 4500 ft above the sea level & surrounded by high mountain cliffs, the pond formed at the bottom of the falls makes an excellent spot for swimming and bathing. Day 6: Dehradun (B)

Day 8: Dehradun - Delhi (Flight)/ Agra (210kms) (B)

Transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival meet your driver and proceed to Agra check in & overnight at hotel.

 

Day 9: Agra - Delhi (210kms)/ Departure (Flight) (B)

Sunrise visit Taj Mahal an ivory-white marble mausoleum commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal, it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. Agra Fort the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638. And Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. 
Later drive to Delhi airport to board evening/ late night flight for your onward destination.
