Day 1: Dimapur - Kohima (70kms/ 3hrs approx)

Upon arrival at Dimapur airport, meet your driver and guide and transfer to Kohima. Check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Day 2: Kohima City Tour

Embark on a city tour of Kohima, where you'll discover its rich history and cultural heritage. Visit prominent landmarks, monuments, temples, and ceremonial places that showcase the city's past. Explore attractions such as Kangla Fort Palace, Polo Ground, Manipur State Museum, Shri Shri Govindaji Temple, Khwairamband Bazaar, and the War Cemeteries.

Day 3: Kohima - Khonoma (20kms/ 1hr approx)

Drive to Khonoma, a village renowned for its courage and valor during the British expedition in the Naga Hills. Admire the terraced fields offering picturesque views and interact with the local artisans and craftsmen. Take a delightful walk to Khonoma village from the main gate and immerse yourself in the village's fascinating history. Overnight stay with a host in the village.

Day 4: Khonoma Exploration

Explore the captivating surroundings of Khonoma. Embark on a soft trekking route through the reserve forest to the Tragopan bird sanctuary. Enjoy a picnic lunch cooked over an open fire and return to the village by early evening. Immerse yourself in the warm hospitality of the villagers and experience the rich cultural traditions of the region. Overnight stay with a host in the village.

Day 5: Khonoma - Imphal (150kms/ 4hrs approx)

Depart Khonoma and drive to Imphal. Check in at your hotel and then embark on a city tour. Visit Kangla Fort Palace, Manipur State Museum, Polo Ground, Shri Shri Govindaji Temple, Khwairamband Bazaar, and the War Cemeteries. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and cultural treasures of Imphal.

Day 6: Imphal - Keibul Lamjao National Park - Imphal (150kms/ 8hrs approx round)

Embark on an excursion to the Keibul Lamjao National Park, home to the endangered Sangai deer and a unique floating wildlife sanctuary. Drive to Moirang, the ancient capital of the Manipuri Kings, and explore its historical sites. Visit Loktak Lake and the picturesque Sendra Island. Return to Imphal in the evening.

Day 7: Imphal - Departure (flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport as per your flight schedule for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of your exploration of tribal communities and the evergreen landscapes of North East India.
