This walk allows you to become acquainted with the local flora, from towering teak trees to a variety of shrubs, and the fauna, including colorful butterflies and birds that are abundant in the area.

Day 2: Pench National Park

Start your day with an early breakfast at the hotel, featuring a selection of both local and continental dishes to fuel your adventure. Following breakfast, you’ll set off on an exhilarating gypsy safari into Pench National Park. Your experienced naturalist will guide you through the park's dense forests, with their tall teak and mahua trees, and open grasslands, sharing fascinating details about the wildlife and the park’s ecosystem.
As you traverse the park, keep your eyes peeled for the park's famous residents. The Royal Bengal Tiger, with its majestic stride, is the star attraction, but you may also spot leopards stealthily moving through the underbrush, sloth bears digging for insects, and a variety of bird species, from the vibrant Indian roller to the crested serpent eagle.
After the morning safari, return to your resort where a sumptuous lunch awaits. The afternoon offers some free time to relax or perhaps enjoy a dip in the pool, a spa treatment, or a visit to the library to learn more about the wildlife of Pench.
In the late afternoon, embark on another safari to further explore Pench's diverse habitats. The changing light of the late afternoon bathes the landscape in a golden hue, providing perfect conditions for photography. You might catch a glimpse of the elusive wild dogs (dholes) or observe herds of spotted deer grazing peacefully, their ears constantly twitching for sounds of predators.

Day 3: Pench National Park - Satpura National Park (200kms)

After an early breakfast, savor your last morning safari in Pench Tiger Reserve. The cool, crisp morning air makes the forest come alive, with the possibility of encountering leopards prowling their territories or hearing the alarm calls of langurs and deer, indicating a predator’s presence.

The park’s lesser-known species, such as the four-horned antelope, also add to the excitement of the safari. As the day progresses, the changing dynamics of the forest, with its interplay of light and shadow, create an enchanting atmosphere, perfect for wildlife photography.
