Day 1: Arrival in Chennai

Upon your arrival at Chennai International Airport, our knowledgeable guide will warmly welcome you. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, immerse yourself in Chennai's vibrant culture and rich history. Start your exploration at the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, an ancient Dravidian architectural marvel dedicated to Lord Shiva. Proceed to Fort St. George, a historical citadel built by the British East India Company in 1644. Experience the lively atmosphere of Marina Beach, one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Conclude the day with a visit to the Santhome Cathedral, a neo-Gothic architectural gem, and the Government Museum, housing a vast collection of ancient artifacts.

 

Day 2: Chennai to Vellore (140kms)

Post breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Vellore. En route, the temple town of Kanchipuram beckons. Here, delve into the divine vibes of the Kailasanathar Temple, the oldest structure in Kanchipuram showcasing intricate carvings. Visit the Ekambareswarar Temple, known for its massive mango tree and ancient inscriptions. Marvel at the grandeur of Varadharaja Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, followed by the Vaikundhaperumal Temple and Kamakshiamman Temple, each with its unique architectural and spiritual significance. Day 3: Vellore to Trichy (280kms)

Continue to the Ramana Ashram, a serene retreat established by the spiritual luminary Sri Ramana Maharshi. Day 4: Trichy to Thanjavur (60kms)

Day 6: Pondicherry to Chennai (160kms)
