Day 1: Tezpur - Bomdila (154kms)

Upon your arrival at Tezpur airport, our friendly and knowledgeable driver will be there to greet you. The drive to Bomdila is a visual treat, offering panoramic views of rolling hills, dense forests, and cascading rivers. Once in Bomdila, settle into your guest house, which boasts comfortable rooms and warm hospitality. Later, treat yourself to a sumptuous dinner at the hotel's restaurant, where you can sample local delicacies like momos (dumplings), thukpa (noodle soup), and ara (local rice beer).

Day 2: Bomdila - Tawang (180kms)

After breakfast, kickstart your day with a visit to the Bomdila Monastery. This monastery, a beautiful replica of the Tsona Gontse Monastery in Tibet, offers a serene ambiance, adorned with colorful prayer flags and intricate Buddhist paintings. From here, proceed to the Bomdila View Point. Standing atop this vantage point, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges, including the snow-capped peaks of Gorichen and Kangto. Later, as you drive to Tawang, make a stop at the Nuranang Waterfalls, a mesmerizing cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Upon arrival in Tawang, check into your hotel and enjoy an evening stroll in the local market, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day 3: Tawang

Begin your day with a spiritual journey to the Tawang Monastery. This iconic monastery, one of the largest in the world, houses valuable scriptures, manuscripts, and an impressive 18-foot tall gilded statue of Lord Buddha. Next, visit Urgelling Gompa, a quaint monastery tucked away amidst pine forests. This is believed to be the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and it exudes a tranquil aura that's perfect for meditation and reflection. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to the Tawang War Memorial, where you can pay homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Indo-China war. Day 4: Tawang - Dirang (140kms)

After breakfast, depart Tawang and head towards Dirang. En route, visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, who valiantly fought against the Chinese during the 1962 war. As you continue your journey, stop at the Sella Pass and Sella Lake. This high-altitude lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush meadows, offers a serene spot for photography and relaxation. Upon reaching Dirang, visit Dirang Dzong, an ancient fort overlooking the Dirang River. End your day with a rejuvenating dip in the Hot Water Spring, known for its therapeutic properties and scenic beauty. Check in at your Dirang hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy a peaceful night amidst the mountains.

Day 5: Dirang - Tezpur (190kms)

Today, as you make your way back to Tezpur, immerse yourself in the town's rich cultural heritage. Begin with a visit to Agnigarh, an ancient hillock surrounded by myths and legends. Next, explore Bamuni Hills, home to the Bamuni Hills Inscription, a set of rock carvings dating back to the 9th century. Continue to Da-Parbatia, an archaeological site housing the remains of an ancient Hindu temple, believed to be one of the oldest in Assam. Conclude your Tezpur exploration with a leisurely stroll through Chitralekha Uddyan, a beautifully landscaped park adorned with sculptures, water features, and colorful flower beds. After a day filled with history, culture, and natural beauty, return to your hotel in Tezpur for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Tezpur - Departure

On the final day of your tour, our driver will ensure a timely transfer to Tezpur airport, ensuring you have a hassle-free journey to catch your onward flight.
